Thursday, 01 April 2010 16:21

Rochelle Williams of Providenciales is a first-time owner of a brand new laptop, courtesy of Digicel and Research In Motion, the makers of BlackBerry.

The two companies have partnered to offer eight weeks of free BlackBerry service to all non-active data BlackBerry users across the Digicel Caribbean and Central America Countries.

Over the next few weeks, those customers will have unlimited BlackBerry data access to use features of the smart phone such as e-mail, Internet browsing and Facebook access. Promotional giveaways are a part of the offer, and customers have the opportunity to win big prizes.

Williams participated in the “E-mail us to WIN” competition and impressed the judges with her explanation of how her BlackBerry keeps her connected. She ranked in the top three of hundreds of submissions from the participating countries.

Williams was surprised and elated to receive the laptop. “It’s one of those things that you want to own, and I am very happy,” she said. “I am proud to be a Digicel customer, staying connected, in the know and on the go.”

Williams says that as a personal concierge at a resort, her new laptop will go a long way in helping her both in her personal and business affairs.
