Friday night’s evening performances got people in the spirit for having fun during the South Caicos Regatta.

Whaboy, the president of Public Figure Presentation, an entity of Souse House Entertainment, which has been projected to be a music empire of the Turks and Caicos Islands, wowed the audience with his soul-inspired and energy-hyped performance.

“Actually, this was my second time performing at a South Caicos Regatta. My first time was in 2006, when I performed alongside Genuwine, Alison Hinds, Cecile and a few others,” explained Whaboy. He said from the moment he received the invitation to perform at this year’s event, he started rehearsing and getting his music together.

Whaboy says this is just the beginning for him, and people should start getting used to hearing his name. “They say the sky is the limit, and to the highest star I am aiming. I dream big because of my ambition, I am here to accomplish a task and that’s my mission,” he said.

He is grateful to “big man above, God” as he says with him all things are possible, for helping him to achieve his goals. He also says he owes thanks to his parents who have always supported him.

As is the case in many young artists, Whaboy says it is thanks to the efforts of Mikie of Souse House Entertainment that kept him focused. He is also grateful to “Lenny Beatz, the South Caicos Regatta Committee and all of my supporters and fans,” said Whaboy.

This young, talented rapper recognized his burning desire to enter the world of music from the age of six. Currently, Whaboy is in studios working on his mix tape “Hard-Work Pays Off,” which is due to be released late this summer.
