1. 4th Annual TCI Gourmet Safari
Come celebrate the absolute best in the Turks and Caicos Islands’ culinary experience with an impressive lineup of chefs from Grace Bay Club, Coyaba Restaurant, Lemon Café, O’Soleil Restaurant and Bagatelle Restaurant on Saturday, Nov. 6.
All dishes for the evening will be paired with a selection of Castello Banfi wines, the sponsored wine portfolio of the event, supplied courtesy of The Wine Cellar.
Space for the event is limited with tickets available at $250 per person and $500 per couple.
2. TCFAF Art & Craft Expo 2010
Take in a taste of local island flavor in all its colours. The 1st Annual Turks and Caicos Friends of the Arts Foundation Art & Craft Expo 2010 will be held Nov. 20 from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. at the Turtle Cove Marina.
The expo will bring together the local talented artisans from the Turks and Caicos Islands under one tented roof — painters, photographers, sculptors, designers, bakers, printmakers and canndlestick makers. It’s truly an “Art for the Family” event with island music and lots of tasty treats to eat as you browse the stores full of fantastic art and crafts for sale.
3. Club Med Beachfest
Club Med has teamed up with Hannemann Events to re-launch Beachfest, a series of semi-annual Olympic beach volleyball clinics at variety of Club Med’s stunning locations.
From Nov. 7-14, Club Med Turkoise invites you to share your common passion for sports, nurture your athletic skills through guidance from elite professionals, and create memories that will last a lifetime.
Contact Club Med Turkoise at 649-946-5500 for more information.
4. Motown Madness-Crime Stoppers
5. 7th Annual TCI Conch Festival
One of the most anticipated events on TCI’s calendar is here once again! The 7th Annual Turks and Caicos Conch Festival takes place Nov. 26-28.
The event kicks off on Nov. 26 with the official opening party, Jazz on the Lawn at The Somerset Resort featuring the sounds of smooth jazz by TCI’s own jazz musicians and a gourmet conch dinner! For more details on this jazzy evening, call The Somerset at 941-5900.
Then from noon to 6 p.m. on Nov. 27, we’re calling all conch shell blowers, conch connoisseurs and everyone in between to the Three Queens Bar & Restaurant in Blue Hills! Sample an assortment of conch dishes made by some of the best chefs on island all competing for the prize conch shell trophy.
Bring your entire family because there will be something for everyone — live music, cash prizes, kids games on the beach and of course lots and lots of conch. For more information, go to www.conchfestival.com.
The party continues with the after party at Horse Eye Jacks in Blue Hills starting at 8 p.m. Then work off all those delicious calories on Sunday, Nov. 28 with a Charity 5K & 10K Run beginning at 6:30 a.m. Contact Wrightfully Fit at 941-3311 for more information.
