| Energy policy draft released, public meetings set |

The Climate Change Committee will be hosting meetings next week to discuss its just-released Green Paper as part of the development of a Climate Change Policy for the islands. The 147-page document prepared by Castalia Strategic Advisors is available on the Department of Environment and Coastal Resources website at www.environment.tc. The Green Paper is intended to serve as a platform to facilitate consultations with stakeholders in the public and private sectors and civil society on the implications of climate change for the country. The intent of the meetings are to engage the wider public in order to share information on Climate Change while simultaneously obtaining feedback from the public on strategies for the TCI. The proposed meeting schedule for next week is as follows:
