Man shot during robbery at Market Place PDF Print E-mail

A businessman was shot and wounded when he was robbed of an unknown amount of money around 8 p.m. Sept. 28 at the Market Place on Leeward Highway, police said.

Police said the man struggled during the robbery and was shot in the left shoulder. His injuries were not life threatening.

“The police are asking that individuals and businesses to take necessary precautions to deter incidents of this nature and to immediately report any suspicious activities to the police,” police said in a statement.
