A man’s body was found Dec. 5 floating in the ocean off Ocean Club West Resort in Grace Bay on Providenciales, police said. The deceased African-American male was found around 6:55 a.m., police said. An autopsy is being performed to determine the cause of death. The man’s identity is unknown. He was described as approximately 5 feet 9 inches, weighing 190-200 pounds, with a medium built, short hair and round face. Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the man. Masked man robs store on Grand Turk, wounds one Police on Grand Turk are investigating the Dec. 3 armed robbery of Tequila Bar on Saunders Pond West Road. During the robbery at about 8:15 p.m., a masked man took and unstated amount of cash and discharged a firearm, wounding a male patron. The patron was treated for a superficial wound over his right eye at the Cockburn Town Medical Centre and released.
