Detectives are searching for a man who tried to sexually assault a woman in Blue Hills. The victim was walking along a footpath April 14 when she was approached by a dark skinned man who pulled her into some bushes. Bystanders heard the woman’s cries for help and chased the attacker away. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the police at 911 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477. Intruder hides in woman’s closet, steals silver watch A woman returned to her Five Cays apartment on April 14 to find a man hiding in the closet. The intruder snatched the homeowner’s silver watch before escaping through a window. The theft took place at about 4:05 a.m. Anyone with information is asked to contact police. Blue Hills burglary foiled by alarm, CCTV shows culprits Burglars were foiled by security devices at a property in Blue Hills. Intruders tried to break in to a house April 15 at around midday, but they were frightened off when an alarm at the house sounded. The culprits were also caught on closed circuit television which is now being studied by detectives. Provo man gets jails time for illegal entry, drugs A Providenciales man has been sentenced to three months in prison after appearing before island magistrates on Friday. Sail Exjovier pleaded to charges of unlawful entry and possession of cannabis.
