The organizers of TCI’s next Top Model have crafted a fun and interactive way for viewers and fans to get involved in the selection of the next Turks and Caicos Islands women chosen to grace future runways.

Friends, family, fans and admirers can visit a voters’ poll platform on Facebook and vote for their favorite aspiring models by “liking” their selection.

The Facebook “like” poll will count towards the choosing of the 2012 TCI Top Model Contest winner, in addition to the contestants being graded on eight categories on contest night.

The poll is available at www.facebook.com/tcitopmodel in a “Like Me on Facebook” photo folder. Polls will close on Friday, May 11, at 6 p.m., and the contestant that receives the most “likes” will win a dinner for two to Carambolla Grill and Lounge.

Contest event night will be held at the Williams Auditorium on May 12 with various stages of judging such as personality, professionalism, portfolio, runway walk and a swimwear and fashion segment.

Event guest appearances will include 2010 and 2009 TCI Top Model winners, along with the Bowen Dance Academy, Leeward Heights, Mike Dizzo & company, Ryesha Higgs and other noted entertainers.

General admission is $50, VIP $75 and TopModelSkyLounge is $200.

The event will commence with an after party at Vino Tiempo in Grace Bay.
