Digicel TCI marked its sixth anniversary July 7, and while maintaining the largest wireless market share in the Turks and Caicos Islands, the company insists on sharing its enormous success with its community and continues paying it forward.

The wireless provider supports the community through a variety of sponsorships including the hot lunch program at the Doris Robinson Primary School on Middle Caicos, where every student receives a complimentary lunch, and by providing main sponsorship to sporting clubs such as the TCI Football Association, United Soccer League, Police Cricket team and TCI Softball Federation.

“Our success over the last six years is due to the fact that as a team we are committed to ensuring that we are best in class in everything — particularly when it comes to our customer experience,” said Digicel TCI CEO E. Jay Saunders. “When you surround yourself with a good team, and when you give back to the community, you will be rewarded, and our customers have rewarded us by continuing to use Digicel when it matters most. We look forward to serving our valued customers and the overall Turks and Caicos Islands for many more years to come.”

The recent opening of a state of the art retail store on North Caicos in early June solidified Digicel’s community commitment by being the first cellular provider to invest in a full service centre to accommodate their North and Middle Caicos users.

Customers can also benefit from Digicel’s partnership with the movie theater on Providenciales where subscribers can earn free movie tickets just by topping up their minutes.

As Digicel looks forward to another year servicing TCI, the management and staff promise to remain committed to providing the best value and service to their customers, as well as new and impactful ways to grow within the community.
