The Turks and Caicos Islands Community College started the 2009-2010 school year on September 7th, 2009 with a full house of students and they are running full steam ahead for the coming year. The school opened both Campuses with an enrolment of 250 students at the Grand Turk Campus and 180 at the Providenciales campus.
The National Museum took possession of an anchor and cannon that were located on the old Dupont property on Providenciales, commonly known as Provo.
In recognition of excellence in Customer Service, Efficiency and Work Ethics, the Immigration Board in Providenciales selected Natasha Hall, for the second time, as Employee of the Year and Lillian Gibbs as Most Outstanding Employee at a simple awards ceremony attended by their peers and superiors last week.
